With so many number one albums and singles in his back catalog, Drake continues to be one of the hottest rappers in the game. However, the man doesn’t spend all his time spitting rhymes to the tune of millions. A few years ago, he became a father to son Adonis, a boy that he has now shared with the world for the first time.

The Rumors Were True

Given how busy Drake is releasing one infectious hit after the next, it’s hard to imagine the man settling down and starting a family. However, back in 2017, the rapper and Sophie Brussaux found themselves at the center of many rumors. People speculated that the pair was pregnant, although nothing was confirmed until Drake released his album "Scorpion" the following year. By that point, Adonis had already been born, and the parents had begun adjusting to their new roles.

Baby Mama Drama

Relations between Drake and the mother of his son haven’t always been tight. There was a lot of drama in the early days that surrounded DNA testing and differences of opinion. However, while the two might not be the best of friends, they’ve always put the interests of their child ahead of anything else. Drake loves his son unconditionally, and nothing will ever get in the way of that.

The first pictures of Adonis came in an emotional Instagram post that highlighted the rapper’s love for the boy. Drake’s fans found his words touching, although they were a little surprised by his son’s appearance. With blond hair and light skin, Adonis definitely isn’t the spitting image of his father. However, we doubt Drake will ever let something like that stand in the way of being a good parent.

Here’s hoping that Drake’s journey as a father is everything that he hopes for and more.
