A Whirlwind Pandemic Relationship
Demi and Max’s romance was everything but gradual and slow-paced. They allegedly met in early March and made it accidentally official at the end of the month when Demi unknowingly interrupted Max’s Instagram live. A couple of months later, in July, news of their engagement made headlines. They celebrated their fifth month anniversary, celebrated Demi’s birthday, and it seemed like there would be a fairytale ending for the couple. And then it went downhill.
Max’s Weird Instagram Stories
It was on September 24th that the first reports of Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich’s called off engagement started circling around. It all came just days after it became clear that Max was a decade-long superfan of Selena Gomez with people posting his old tweets about how much he loves her and how she is the best. Neither of them commented at first, and then Max went to Instagram to rant all about it.
He claims he found out about their breakup from the tabloids. After a series of odd statements, including that Demi made a mistake to end things because he was currently shooting a movie where he plays a pastor, Max also involved Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande’s failed romance. He believes he’s a victim, just like Pete. Max’s recent feed is all about seemingly begging Demi to talk to him. Who knows where this dynamically changing behavior is coming from.
Demi Lovato Is Not Having It
Although she hasn’t officially commented on the story, Demi released a song called “Still Have Me,” which she shared on her social media with the caption, “Music is always there for me…” Is this really the end for the pair? We’ll have to wait and see…
