30+ Times Celebs Were So Wholesome, They Made Someone’s Day

These Celebs Are So Wholesome!

While many of us look up to celebs and may even consider them our heroes, they’re sometimes known to dismiss us mere mortals. Luckily, that wasn’t the case when these wholesome celebrities met their fans. Lucky for us, these people took to the internet to share the sweet and kind everyday encounters they had with some of the world’s biggest A-listers, and it’s definitely making our day just a little better.

Dolly Parton

While we think it’s wonderful, there are a few rare people out there who dislike Dolly Parton’s music. But, even they have to agree that the blond country singer is beyond reproach when it comes to her conduct with her many fans.

Dolly Parton

Clearly, this talented woman works more than a “9 to 5” to treat her fans with joy, grace, and heaps of humor. Beyond her incredible voice and musical ability, her kindness is definitely why we all absolutely adore Dolly Parton.

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen has been an integral part of the modern rock industry for nearly six decades now, and has somehow managed to remain one of the most chill and wholesome musicians out there.

Bruce Springsteen

And according to @RealTammy365, he really is as nice and cool as he seems. Thanks to this tweet, now we want to meet this legend! Hopefully, we’ll see you at your next concert, Springsteen!

Sigourney Weaver

From playing Ripley in the Alien franchise to her roles in Ghostbusters and Avatar, Sigourney Weaver has a special spot in many geeks’ hearts. It’s nice to know, then, that her kindness isn’t just on the screen.

Sigourney Weaver

We absolutely agree with this Twitter user that we all just want to be Sigourney Weaver when we grow up. But, the best thing about this story is seeing how kind and humble Weaver was toward her fan.

Willem Dafoe

Over his impressive career, Willem Dafoe has played a great many roles, running the gamut from hero to villain and everything in between. We have to be honest, though, that his most memorable characters have to be his villainous ones.

Willem Dafoe

So, it makes us really happy to know that he’s such a sweetheart in real life, especially to a service worker. After all, that’s the biggest test to whether or not a person actually is kind, and it looks like Dafoe passed it with flying colors.

George Takei

Of course, the real-life actor that portrays Mr. Sulu — aka George Takei — is a sweetheart! Did anyone ever have a doubt about it?! So, we’re not surprised at all to see that interviewer Walter Foreman had such a sweet and kind interaction with the beloved actor.

George Takei

It’s lovely to learn, though, that the kind-hearted George Takei has a work ethic that rivals his famed Star Trek character. So, beam us up, Scotty… we want to go meet George somewhere too!

Brendon Urie

We have to be honest — we had quite “High Hopes” from Brendon Urie. Although he writes sins (not tragedies), we were definitely hoping that under all that pop-punk, he would be a pretty wholesome dude.

Brendon Urie

Thanks to Josh on Twitter, we now know that we’re absolutely right! In fact, it looks like he was so kind that he turned this random guy into a lifelong fan — now that’s what we call star power!

Pierce Brosnan

He might have reached international fame thanks to his suave acting as Agent 007 in the James Bond franchise, but we bet at least a few younger readers mostly know him as his goofy character in the Mama Mia movies.

Pierce Brosnan

Judging from this wholesome encounter with journalist Rachel West, Sam Carmichael might just be closer to the actor’s actual personality and we’re all for it! While it might be cool to meet a real-life Bond, we don’t imagine it’d be super wholesome.

Anthony Bourdain

Creator and star of the successful and beloved food travel shows No Reservations and Parts Unkown, Anthony Bourdain was often dubbed the original “bad boy” of the celeb chef world.

Anthony Bourdain

While he was known for being quite crass and upfront, he was also incredibly sensitive and open-minded, introducing many to different cuisines and cultures from around the world. This story, shared by Marie, encompasses his most wholesome self.

Robert Pattinson

Although Robert Pattinson is famous for hating the role that shot him to fame (Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga), it doesn’t seem that this attitude has passed on to his devoted fans.

Robert Pattinson

Since Twilight, Pattinson has had quite a diverse and quirky career, often taking on strange Indie roles. All of those (and his recent stint as Batman), have proven what a talented actor he really is — which this tweet shows perfectly!

Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep is one of the most well-regarded versatile actors in the world, and for a good reason. Because from the loving, mischievous mother in Mama Mia to the scary dragon-boss-lady in The Devil Wears Prada, she’s such a good actress that we have no clue what she would be like in the real world.

Meryl Streep

So, how great is it to learn that she’s just as sweet and kind as her most darling characters? When someone so wholesome has the ability to play someone so heartless and mean, you just know they’ve got talent in spades!

Danny DeVito

Danny DeVito is an absolute treasure, and no one can convince us otherwise! Thankfully, no one’s actually trying — instead, we’ve got @illpod’s confirmation that the guy’s a total sweetheart. Looks like our childhood love of the guy is safe.

Danny DeVito

Speaking of DeVito being super wholesome, did you know that while filming Matilda, Mara Wilson’s mom got sick? DeVito and his wife, Rhea Perlman, took care of Wilson through her mom’s illness and even made sure her mom saw the finished film before she passed.

Tom Hanks

Here’s another internet favorite — of course, Tom Hanks is an absolute pleasure to interact with in public. After all, you don’t get to play Fred Rogers without being one of the most wholesome people in Hollywood.

Tom Hanks

He won over our collective hearts with Forrest Gump and has since just proven again and again that he’s worthy of our love. We just wish we could be one of those Waterstones employees so we could also be part of this lovely interaction.

Jon Bon Jovi

Did you know that beyond his incredible career as the founder and leading man of the rock band Bon Jovi, Jon Bon Jovi the person is also an actor? Well, he has acted in a few things over the years. We just thought that was a fun fact.

Jon Bon Jovi

Anyway, we love the encounter Chuck Bonfig had with Bon Jovi. Clearly, the talented musician appreciates a bit of cool humor from his fans. This certainly made us laugh as much as Bon Jovi probably did.

Harrison Ford

It’s sometimes hard to tell where the sarcastic and charming Indiana Jones or Han Solo end, and the real Harrison Ford actually begins. Mostly because he’s just as charming as his famous characters.

Harrison Ford

We do, however, love how humble and sweet this interaction between Monda and Harrison is. Our favorite treasure hunter exudes confidence and is just so down-to-earth, and we absolutely love him for it!

Courteney Cox

Although among the friends in Friends, the title of Most Wholesome goes to either Joey or Pheobe, in real life, Courteney Cox is a definite contender — although, honestly, they all seem pretty sweet to us.

Courteney Cox

We just love how this sitcom queen just kept on chatting with Allison about her question. This just shows how dedicated to her fans and how excited about her work Cox really is!

Steven Spielberg

As the most commercially successful director of all time, Steven Spielberg has an incredibly diverse resume; E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, and so many others!

Steven Spielberg

Spielberg is literally our childhood! So, we’re so glad to learn that he’s just as nurturing and kind to young people in the movie industry as we would expect him to be. So, how can we get a brain-picking sesh with the maestro?

Muhammad Ali

We already knew that Muhammad Ali was the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time (thanks to his amazing sportsmanship at the Fight of the Century and in The Rumble in the Jungle), but we can also now say that he was the most wholesome heavyweight boxer of all time.

Muhammad Ali

Just look at the sweet drawing and signature that the late legendary athlete gave Kristin during a chance meeting at the airport! His skill at drawing fighting stick figures is truly admirable — and adorable!

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga isn’t known as “Mother Monster” for nothing. Beyond her incredible voice, she’s known for her endless dedication to her loving fans. She’s been an incredibly vocal advocate over the years for many causes that directly affect much of her fanbase.

Lady Gaga

So, it’s no surprise that Hugh McIntyre had such a lovely encounter with the star. Fun Fact — did you know that Taiwan loves Lady Gaga so much that they have an official “Lady Gaga Day” on July third every year, marking the date she first visited the country?

Carole King

She sure makes us feel like natural women‚ Carole King has had an incredibly successful and impactful musical career for decades. So, we’re hardly surprised that she was such an inspiration to this Twitter user.

Carole King

We did love to learn, though, that despite her probably busy schedule, King took the time to be a queen by sitting with this young woman. Not only that, but it sounds like the epic musician mostly sat there and listened.

Ernie Hudson

Ernie Hudson will forever be a part of our childhood, thanks to his iconic role as Winston Zeddemore in the original Ghostbusters Trilogy (and now a new generation of ghostbusting fans can enjoy his acting in the series reboot Ghostbusters: Afterlife).

Ernie Hudson

We absolutely love the chance encounter Gordon has with Ernie when he was a kid. It encompasses exactly why Ernie’s character was so important, and highlights what a fantastic role model the actor is to young fans.

Mark Hamill

In case you live under a rock, Mark Hamill is best known for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars universe — and for his many, many iconic voice-acting roles. Did you know Hamill is the voice of the Joker in most animated projects?

Mark Hamill

Anyone following Hamill on social media (where he’s extremely active) knows exactly just how funny and wholesome the actor is. So, it comes as no surprise to us that he was such an absolute pleasure to meet in person. We also love that Philly managed to bring the meme to life by getting Hamill to “point.”

Carrie Fisher

In both her life and her acting career, Carrie Fisher was the definition of a fearless woman. Of course, she played the iconic Princess Leia in the original Star Wars films (later turned into General Leia), but she was also pretty iconic in her daily life too.

Carrie Fisher

She was known for her fierceness and sharp wit, which makes this encounter with Dave Cobb all the more wholesome for showing her shy, almost-awkward side. Since her passing in 2016, she’s been incredibly missed by her fans.

Alan Rickman

Oh, Alan Rickman, how we miss your kind face and fathomless talent (and that silky smooth voice, of course). It was a true loss for the acting world when Rickman passed away in 2016.

Alan Rickman

Thankfully, we have stories like this one to remind us of what a great man he truly was. Can you imagine just randomly meeting a student and then agreeing to an interview on the spot? But, that’s just the kind of person he was.

Dan Aykroyd

How can we not absolutely love the creator and star of Ghostbusters (because who else “you gonna call”)?! Of course, he’s been in a bunch of other great projects, including being nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Driving Miss Daisy.

Dan Aykroyd

But, to us, and to Julie’s kid, he’s always going to be the iconic and charming Dr. Raymond “Ray” Stantz as he busts some ghosties. His devotion and care toward his young fans is absolutely heartwarming — and now we’re bawling like Julie. Can we get a hug, too?

Chris Evens & Tom Hiddleston

Playing a hero is no easy task. Playing a superhero might be even harder. And we’re not just talking about all the training and acting and stunt work that these actors go through. It’s the fact that they need to keep being superheroes in real life, too.

Chris Evens & Tom Hiddleston

After all, after playing Captain America, Chris Evens’ very young fans absolutely expect him to act like their beloved character. As for Tom Hiddleston — he might play a villain-turned-antihero, but in the real world, he’s always had a heart of gold!

Conan O’Brien

He might have appeared on The Tonight Show to replace David Letterman as a nobody-writer from SNL and The Simpsons — but for the past 30 years, he’s been our wholesome, nightly entertainment.

Conan O’Brien

We can absolutely see the long-time host treating Tanner Thomason like his buddy. Not only does this encounter show his genuine kindness, but also his wonderful and encouraging sense of humor.

Nicolas Cage

Thanks to his unique personality, Nicolas Cage has gotten a reputation for being quite eccentric over the years. That doesn’t mean he’s any less wholesome, though. His sweetness just tends to come out in… interesting ways.

Nicolas Cage

Did you know he’s considered to be one of the most generous Hollywood stars? This is why we absolutely love this funny little encounter, because let’s face it — a case of mistaken identity has happened to all of us. He’s just like us!

Robin Williams

Oh, Robin Williams, what could we possibly say that you don’t already know about this incredibly sweet and wholesome legend? Beyond being one of the funniest people ever, he was also one of the kindest and most gentle.

Robin Williams

We already knew he was an amazing guy thanks to how he took care of his close friend Christopher Reeve after his injury. But thanks to this tweet, we can definitely say that he was just as great with regular folks.

Johnny Marr

This guitarist legend needs no introduction, but in case you do need one — Johnny Marr might be one of the best guitarists of all time and is best known for fronting the beloved band The Smiths, alongside Morrissey.

Johnny Marr

What really struck us about this adorable interaction is that Marr really is just a big musical geek — happy to gush about his open favorite musician (despite being many people’s favorite musician himself). We’re officially his fans for life!

Maurice Bernard Sendak

Maurice Sendak, beloved author and illustrator of children’s books, was well known to love his littlest fans who fell in love with the story and the art of his most famous book, Where the Wild Things Are.

Maurice Bernard Sendak

In the vein of this adorable interaction shared on Twitter, Sandak was quoted getting the following letter to a fan, “I got a letter back from his mother, and she said: ‘Jim loved your card so much he ate it.’ That, to me, was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received.”

Matt Groening

Fun fact — did you know that Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons, has a son named Homer? On a more relevant note, Groening has been the creator of two of the most influential animated shows of the past 30 years, The Simpsons and Futurama.

Matt Groening

So, we love to see that he’s still supporting and nurturing the talent of other young creators. Also, it’s adorable that this artist wanted to give Groening free stuff, and even more heartwarming that Groening insisted on paying for everything.

William Shatner

Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise might have been his most memorable and influential role, but William Shatner has acted in many other amazing projects. He even has a musical career!

William Shatner

How great is it that despite him having gone to actual space at the age of 90, Shatner is still a down-to-earth dude? We’d love to meet ol’ “Bill” ourselves and give him a Volcan salute.

Craig Robinson

Whether you know him as deadpan Darryl Philbin, the warehouse manager in The Office — or the charming thief with a heart of gold, Doug Judy from Brooklynn Nine-Nine — we can all agree that Craig Robinson is an incredibly funny and talented actor.

Craig Robinson

Thanks to @Orpheus_Black, we now definitively know that Craig is also just as charming and nice in real life! So, next time we meet the “Pontiac Bandit” on the Pineapple Express, we’ll be sure to get a cool pic with him too!

John Cleese

While younger readers might not know the greatness that is Monty Python (which is a mistake that should be corrected immediately with a Monty Python marathon), we all have John Cleese (and others) to thank for the hours of endless entertainment that the comedy troupe gave us.

John Cleese

This lucky Twitter user actually got to drink from this particular fountain of comedy knowledge by picking John Cleese’s brain for an entire half-hour! We’re pretty sure even seasoned comedians would kill for this opportunity!

Patton Oswalt

While Patton Oswalt’s sitcom acting chops are certainly well regarded and appreciated, we really do think that it’s his distinct voice that has made him into the massive star that he is today.

Patton Oswalt

Sure, his role in The King of Queens made him famous, but he became a truly beloved actor thanks to a little rat. After all, what little kid wouldn’t swoon at hearing the voice behind the adorable little chef, Remy, from Ratatouille?

Hilary Duff

Unlike many of her Disney Channel and Nickelodeon child co-stars, Hilary Duff made the transition from child star to grown-up actor pretty smoothly, staying the wholesome and relatable Lizzie McGuire star that we all know and love.

Hilary Duff

So, thank you, Brandon — for showing us that Hilary really is just as awesome and cool as we hoped she would be! We knew there was a good reason we kept rewatching A Cinderella Story.

Viggo Mortensen

If you’ve ever watched The Lord of the Rings trilogy with a fan of the series, then you know exactly what a dedicated actor Viggo Mortensen is (yes, we are talking about that helmet-kicking scene).

Viggo Mortensen

But, it looks like even beyond his chivalrous role of Aragorn, Viggo is just as knightly out of his costume chainmail. This interaction definitely has us swooning like a young maiden at how kind and sweet this great actor is.

Leonard Nimoy

It’s impossible, of course, to talk about Leonard Nimoy without mentioning the character that was just as much a part of his identity as his real self — Spock from Star Trek. Thanks to Nimoy, Spock became one of the most beloved and relatable geek characters ever.

Leonard Nimoy

The main difference between the two was that, while the half-human half-Vulcan character was stoic and reserved, the real Nimoy was warm, kind, and joyous. Anyone who got to meet him really is privileged.

Bas Rutten

Ranken by Inside MMA as the fourth-greatest mixed martial artist of all time, in 2008, Bas “El Guapo” Rutten has become quite a fan favorite. We can see why — the athlete has only ever lost four fights.

Bas Rutten

He finished his career with a 22-fight unbeaten streak! That’s amazing, especially considering that he had asthma as a kid! If we met him like Chris did, we’d definitely be doing the “Rutten Jump” with joy!

”Weird Al” Yankovic

It seems that Alfred Yankovic’s fate as a musical/comedy genius was sealed the moment he first picked up an accordion when he was seven (apparently, he was later inspired by Elton John’s music to play rock with the unusual instrument).

”Weird Al” Yankovic

With such a unique personality and outlook, it’s no wonder that he’s quickly become a musician beloved by music and parody geeks alike. We absolutely believe that meeting Weird Al is an incredibly wholesome encounter.

Bryan Cranston

Here’s a fan fact — apparently, Bryan Cranston already had a bit of an affinity with chemistry before playing Walter White in Breaking Bad. You see, he was part of his high school’s chemistry club, and even studied police science in college!

Bryan Cranston

But, it looks like his real personality is somewhat closer to his Malcolm in the Middle character of Hal — just being a goofy and kind guy. While the photo from this encounter might not look like it, Nick’s happy smile definitely shows that he was having a great time meeting his hero.

Mel Brooks

With timeless hits like The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Mel Brooks is easily one of the best comedy producers/directors/actors ever.

Mel Brooks

His real charm, of course, comes from the fact that — as this tweet shows perfectly — Mel Brooks never misses an opportunity to make people laugh. At the end of the day, he really is just a cool, funny guy.

Keanu Reeves

This will come as no surprise to anyone who’s been on the internet in the last few years, but Keanu Reeves is probably the most wholesome celeb ever (at least, according to his many, many fans).

Keanu Reeves

Beyond being a super-talented actor, he’s unfailingly polite, humble, and kind toward his fans, no matter when or where they meet him. He’s also incredibly private and known to be quite shy. He truly is the internet’s perfect boyfriend.

Stevie Wonder and John Mayer

Everybody loves Stevie Wonder, so it’s hardly surprising that he was a pleasure to meet. Plus, how sweet is it that he was paying enough attention to hear this woman’s wish and then quickly grant it?

Stevie Wonder and John Mayer

We do have to admit that we’re a little surprised by the John Mayer interaction. Don’t get us wrong; we’re super glad she had a positive encounter with the singer. We just weren’t expecting it from him — so, pleasantly surprised.

Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost

Alright, we have to admit, we might be a little biased by adding these three to the list. What can we say? Their Three Flavours Cornetto films might just be our favorite movie franchise ever.

Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost

But, it’s nice to find out that not only are they super talented when it comes to making fantastic films (seriously, go watch them now) — but they’re also incredibly decent and kind human beings. Thanks, Even, for sharing this sweet memory with us.

30+ People Share Stories Of Being Abducted By Aliens That Are Terrifying

Ah, alien abduction stories. Hard for most of us to believe, but fully believed by a great number of people nevertheless. Either way, here are some stories that people have shared about alien abduction: or the belief regarding it, at any rate.

Better Than Elsewhere

A lot of alien encounter stories involve someone in their own home, but this one actually involves a soldier who was deployed overseas.

Better Than Elsewhere

While it was probably small comfort for him, we do have to say, from our perspective we’d think having a weapon nearby would be preferable to not, in such a scenario. Not that he was able to use it, supposedly.

Where Does the Time Go?

If you regularly take an interest in alien encounter stories, then you’ve probably heard the bit about people losing track of time and memory. This does actually happen to people for pretty normal reasons, but it’s a little more suspicious when you lose those things around a troubling event.

Where Does The Time Go?

We don’t know what these guys saw and if it was really aliens or just the government playing around with a new aircraft of some sort, but this story lies firmly within the realm of “possible.” As always though, there’s no real evidence other than the words of this man.

Where Do You Go?

Now, we’re going to say upfront that this experience sounds a lot like sleepwalking. A lot of people that go through sleepwalking imagine other figures or beings with them as they move around, sometimes with that being carrying them.

Where Do You Go?

However, we are also willing to admit that maybe it could be something paranormal. That said, even the guy who made this post admitted that it could have very well had nothing to do with aliens at all. It’s really just a vague abnormal experience.

Lost in the Fields

Lots of alien abduction stories take place in empty fields and such. We’re not sure why this is the case: maybe because there’s never anyone else out there to witness the phenomenon, by alien design or by liar’s intent. One way or another, this kid apparently had his experience in such a field.

Lost in the Fields

However, he admits himself in the story that perhaps he just fell asleep in the tall grass and couldn’t be found. We know that it’s actually very easy to miss people in such environments, so that too is pretty likely. Maybe he was just overlooked.

Road Trip!

If aliens do exist, they at least know how to target their abductions in a way where no one except their victims ever see them. That’s probably why a lot of these stories take place on long, dark roads in the night where no one ever sees anything.

Road Trip!

Apparently the aliens are also really good at being almost impossible to identify for certain. Descriptions of them are always remarkably vague, but perhaps that’s something they intend. Either way, these two ladies sure believe something paranormal happened to them.

What Were They Doing?

This story is a little weird, not because of the usual things that are involved with alien stories, but because the aliens in this tale obviously made off with some poor kid’s pants. Why? No one is really sure. Maybe they were studying fashion so they could blend in better.

What Were They Doing?

Or maybe the kid just had a really wild sleepwalking episode. You wouldn’t believe the types of crazy things people accidentally do while sleepwalking. But hey, we suppose either one of them is technically possible. There’s just no way to know.

Pics, Please?

Stories where people had some sort of unearthly encounter that resulted in a blackout are plausible at least. But people who claim to talk and interact with aliens are very suspicious. After all, if they had really become best buds with aliens, wouldn’t they have some evidence?

Pics, Please?

More importantly, if you were one of the few people on Earth to interact with aliens and even get all friendly with them like this guy allegedly did after a scuffle, wouldn’t you have more important things to do than post on Reddit?

What Exactly Does Morph Mean?

You know what we want to know? How come aliens abduct people and experiment on them, but always put them back? Wouldn’t they need to abduct less humans if they just kept the ones they abducted in the first place? It’s not like they would be endangering themselves by keeping humans when we can’t even detect them.

What Exactly Does Morph Mean?

Either way, this guy claims to have seen an alien “morph” through solid matter to take a look at him. What did it want? Who knows. Also, apparently he wasn’t supposed to be sleeping on his back, which is also of note to him. Maybe it was just a scary dream?

Watching, Waiting, Preying

You know what a lot of alien encounter stories have in common? They involve someone being frozen, seeing a scary figure in a corner, and blacking out before waking up to see everything is normal. We’d like to point out that this is exactly what sleep paralysis tends to do to people.

Watching, Waiting, Preying

But we’re not saying it’s impossible for it to actually be aliens. Though we would have to ask what aliens are doing bothering random civilians all the time. If they want to study humans, couldn’t they do that from space, and just watch?

Exactly 531 Lightyears

We don’t think that out of body experiences are impossible, but we do believe that extremely vivid dreams are a lot more likely. What gets us about this story is the very explicit and specific knowledge this person shares about being exactly 531 lightyears away.

Exactly 531 Lightyears

How would he know that? Does he even really know how far a lightyear is? Well, maybe he had some crazy astral projection thing going on, but maybe he was also just having a super wild dream about saving the universe exactly 531 lightyears away.

Mass Abduction, Small Tubes

Does getting shrunken and sucked into a tube remind anyone of Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory? No? Just us? Well anyway, this woman’s experience is allegedly quite detailed and vivid. We’re not sure if that makes it more or less believable.

Mass Abduction, Small Tubes

But we can understand why that experience, real or perceived, would be pretty traumatic for someone. We firmly believe that things you perceive as real can affect your life just as much as reality itself, though who knows: maybe everything she saw really happened.

Well That’s Terrifying

Lots of alien encounter stories are uncomfortable by nature, and generally pretty creepy. Has something to do with how those aliens never want to make their presence known in a normal way, like waving and saying hello. They subscribe to the paranormal activity type of greeting, for some reason.

Well That’s Terrifying

That’s why they allegedly make themselves known in ways like this woman described. Would it kill them to be a little less terrifying and a little more approachable? What’s the need for all this hocus pocus stuff anyway? Or dot hey find it funny?

Buzzing the Tower

Lots of alien encounter stories involve spotting a UFO or at least getting the sense of a UFO being nearby. This is one such story, though it mostly involves lights and sounds, so it’s not particularly scary. Still, it’s a story to talk about.

Buzzing the Tower

We gotta ask though, if the aliens are capable of flight in any part of our atmosphere, why are they always flying so low? Why risk being seen like that? Just doesn’t seem like something a very advanced alien race trying to be secretive would do.

The Mysterious Breakdown

This story is a little weird, not because it has some vague recollection of an alien encounter, but because it raises the question as to one actually happened, based on a weird experience. To be honest, perhaps this story has nothing to do with aliens.

The Mysterious Breakdown

But it does sound like something that could be caused by aliens, so we figured we could mention it here regardless. Maybe this weird incident of losing memory and feeling like something big happened was aliens wiping their memory after an abduction? Who knows?

Ripped to the Sky

Why do so many alien encounter stories involve people blacking out right as something paranormal happens? If it is the aliens knocking them out, why can’t the aliens knock them out before doing the suspicious thing to avoid having stories like this circulate around?

Ripped to the Sky

Either way, there are a lot of alien encounter stories like this one that involve a person blacking out right after getting nabbed or feeling like something was off. Maybe the aliens need to step up their game and reorganize this whole process.

Rip and Tear

Some people are willing to admit that their alien encounter stories may just be really vivid dreams or nightmares. Even this guy admits that it may be the case. But the bit about his ripped sweater is very interesting. That said, it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a dream at all.

Rip and Tear

After all, the brain can often incorporate things that are from reality into your dream. Though it’s worth noting that the kid didn’t seem to know his sweater was ripped in the first place, so that’s something to take into consideration, when you think about it.

Just Standing Around

This is another story that we feel is very likely to be sleep paralysis, which most often involves being unable to move your body and seeing or hearing hallucinations. However, we are not going to say for certain that it was sleep paralysis. Maybe it really happened.

Just Standing Around

Regardless of what it was, we can definitely see why this would be a terrifying experience for anyone, and why it would be traumatic for them to remember that it happened. Still, a lot of stories go this way, and sleep paralysis fits the bill. Unless that’s the aliens’ plan?

Calm Down, Please

Are aliens ever annoyed by how scared or anxious humans are when they get abducted? Well, they should probably expect it considering the situation. But at least they seem to have some magical calming powers to make their abducted humans calm down.

Calm Down, Please

That said, why don’t they always do this? Some people tell stories about aliens that don’t care about their comfort at all, and others tell stories about aliens that will do their best to make you feel at peace. Is it about the experiments, or is it just different aliens?

Get the Details Right

In this alien abduction story, our biggest question is why the aliens were supposedly so bad about getting the details right when returning a human to their bed. Like, they’re so smart and advanced, but can’t put a kid’s pajamas on right, or place him back in a bad the way they grabbed him?

Get the Details Right

Well, maybe they have weird designs beyond our understanding or something. Or maybe they don’t feel that such details are really important. Either way, stories like this one are pretty weird, though we would like to mention the possibility of sleep walking.

They Do Triangles Now

You know, most stories involving a UFO have the being cylindrical or ovular in shape, but you don’t hear too many stories about triangle shaped ones. This is one of the few stories where such a UFO is actually involved. Probably not the most important part of it, of course.

They Do Triangles Now

A lot of stories also include someone feeling compelled to do things, like go to the window, which isn’t really easy to explain. We suppose this is actually a pretty typical alien encounter story, but we do have to include the typical as well.

Come With Me

Few alien encounter stories actually involve communicating with the aliens, or rather, having an actual conversation with them in which someone asks questions and someone answers. This story does have that, however brief the exchange may have been.

Come With Me

It’s also one of the few stories that involve seeing multiple types of aliens at once, which is pretty rare. Whether or not that means anything is up for debate. Regardless, at least the aliens in this story were respectful of one’s wishes.

Mind if I Sleep Here?

Imagine having a bunk bed, sleeping on the bottom, and when you look up, there’s a weird inhuman face peeking at you from up above. Creepy. Possibly just a creepy dream, but also possibly not. Apparently, all the aliens in the universe have telepathic “make you sleep” powers.

Mind If I Sleep Here?

Which is pretty darn convenient for them, since they seem to be noticed or spotted by humans a lot, if all of these stories are anything to by. But hey, maybe the weird top bunk alien was just looking for a place to crash for a little bit?

How Does This Feel?

This story is less about one particular encounter and more about the sensations one feels during weird alien abduction shenanigans. We imagine that being able to phase through walls and whatnot would feel a certain way that most humans can’t describe.

How Does This Feel?

We do have to ask though: why would aliens abduct the same person multiple times? If they were going to do that, why not just abduct them once and keep them? It’s not like that would place their existence in any more danger than continuously kidnapping the same guy.

Colors of the Invaders

Lots of alien encounter stories have something to do with color, or orbs of color flying around, or lights of some sort. Usually people associate these with UFOs or something, though there are times they don’t as well. Either way, there are probably some medical explanations for this kind of thing.

Colors of the Invaders

According to this guy though, a friend of his saw the same thing he did, so it’s worth considering as having been real. Once again though, there’s really no way to confirm or deny the story, so we can only judge it based on our own beliefs.

A Certain Feeling

Not everyone gets scared when they have an alien encounter experience, or when they perceive one, at any rate. Some people actually feel pretty peaceful or comfortable with such experiences. That said, we do find this level of comfort to be a little extreme.

A Certain Feeling

There are many reasons why people may have strange feelings or thoughts. Most of them can be explained in a medical way. We’re not saying that aliens don’t exist, but you should generally see a medical professional for all such things regardless.

Can I Help You?

Is it an unspoken rule that aliens have to be super vague and cryptic about their presence and goals? What issue do they have with being upfront with the humans they are interacting with? Seriously, it would make contact a lot easier, wouldn’t it?

Can I Help You?

Either way, this story, like many others, involves a very brief out of body experience in which aliens are seen, but no real communication occurs. Darn aliens, why can’t they just be honest about their feelings? Make life easier for us and them.

Confirmed, for Sure?

One explanation that often comes up when lights in the sky are military training exercises, with human aircraft flying around. This story raises the possibility of such a scenario, but claims that it was “confirmed” that no such aircraft were in the area.

Confirmed, For Sure?

While that may be true, we’d like to point out that the people “confirming” that could just be lying. After all, if it was a top secret exercise, they’d probably rather have you think it was aliens than compromise the secret project, right?

Brightest Light

What we like about this story is that it considers the alternatives to alien presence. When a fast and bright light flashes across the sky for an instant, it’s usually a meteorite or something similar. But this guy raises some good points regarding those exact questions.

Brightest Light

So who knows, maybe it really was an alien ship flying by? Although, we once again have to ask why they would be flying so low or so noticeably when they clearly don’t have to. After all, why make a show of travel when you are trying to keep a low profile?

Conducting Maneuvers

This story is interesting because it’s one of the few times someone claims to see something that isn’t a vague light in the distance, but rather an actual craft of some sort that they can describe. Which is good, as far as the credibility of the story is concerned.

Conducting Maneuvers

But as always, we have to raise some questions. Sure, we don’t have an explanation for what they saw, but if it were an alien craft, why risk flying so close to a human commercial plane, where it could easily be seen or maybe even hit?

Training Exercise, Typical Excuse

We’ll end this with another account of a UFO, though it’s worth noting that the location of this story is near Camp Peddleton, a military base. So it’s very possible that the UFO that was seen was actually just a funny shaped human craft or vehicle.

Training Exercise, Typical Excuse

You never know though: seems unnecessarily dangerous, but aliens could have been getting up to some weird extraterrestrial shenanigans near a military base. Who knows, maybe the military was even in on it? Yeah, maybe that is a little far-fetched.

The Galactic Who Now?

Like we said before, we’re not inclined to condemn or support those who believe in aliens and believe they have had alien encounters. It’s not our place. That said, there are some things that are objectively ridiculous and easy to scoff at.

The Galactic Who Now?

We’re not sure how this guy would be privy to such special knowledge that no one else seems to know, or how he’s so informed on this higher race of beings that are watching humanity all the time. Some stories are plausible, but this one is obviously made up for attention.

Details? Who Needs ‘Em?

We’re not sure why this guy would be so vague about his alien encounter experience if it really happened as clearly as he claims it did. Evidently, he laid eyes on a UFO that was all of ten or twenty feet away from him. But all he can tell us is that it was V-shaped?

Details? Who Needs ‘Em?

We’re just saying, we think someone who saw a real UFO would be a lot more forthcoming with details about it. It seems pretty unlikely that he wouldn’t even mention what color it was. And what was it doing, just hovering around to be looked at?

Electronic Warfare

Is it just us, or do a lot of alien encounter stories involve some sort of weird electronic fluctuations that mess up a bunch of our equipment? Clocks, TVs, lights, everything seems to go haywire in stories where a mysterious alien or shadowy entity shows up.

Electronic Warfare

Are all aliens equipped with electronic pulses or something? Or is there just one race of aliens allegedly watching us that happen to do this? Or, did this guy have a nightmare, than wake up to find that a power outage had messed up his clocks?

The Good Ones

Most alien encounter stories are about aliens just being vague and confusing, but this story has them being benevolent, apparently. We don’t know why they would come around every seven years specifically, but who are we to ask those questions?

The Good Ones

Either way, we wish that all alien encounter stories were as benevolent as this one, because that would make most of said stories a lot less troubling to read about. Unfortunately, this story seems to be very uncommon among these things.

One Big Party

What’s interesting to us about this alien encounter story is the number of aliens involved in it. In most stories, the aliens just aren’t seen at all, or if they are, it’s in small numbers. But this individual allegedly saw a great a number of them messing around in her room.

One Big Party

We have to say, they’re apparently remarkably quiet, if that many of them managed to rummage around in her room without bothering her. But, we suppose aliens have proven themselves to be pretty stealthy and secretive over the years, allegedly.
