Erika Girardi About The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Erika Girardi says it was a dream come true when she got the role of the murderous housewife and aspiring nightclub singer Roxie Hart for the Chicago the Musical! The role sort of mirrors her own life (minus the murderous part, of course).
Her run began on January 6th, 2020, and she told PEOPLE she’s “beyond excited” to be part of the legendary musical Chicago. Girardi was already a fan of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon’s work, and it was an absolute honor and a dream to play Roxie Hart.
Busy Lifestyle & Plans Going Down
Erika Girardi’s husband, Tom, never got the chance to see her perform. As a busy man, he missed most of the shows, but he was planning to come to see one of the last shows that were scheduled. However, the global pandemic happened, so he missed his last opportunity.
Tom Girardi was also a Broadway fan. Erika even confessed that her husband could have been more excited than she was when they got the news.
Still, Erika Girardi was able to perform in front of many notable people, such as Andy Cohen, Marc Jacobs, Janet Jackson, and others. Some of Erika’s fellow Beverly Hills Housewives also got to see her in Chicago, as many of the show’s viewers saw in the RHOBH Season 10 finale. Dorit (Kemsley) even came from Mexico to witness that great moment.
